Abstract

Since genome sequencing of Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv strain was completed in 1998,transcriptomics researches of Mycobacterium tuberculosis have become very active. Especially with the application of high-flux gene chip technology in transcriptomics research of Mycobacterium tuberculosis,the progress of it becomes more rapid. The transcriptomics researches of Mycobacterium tuberculosis experience three stages: from separated strain in vitro to Mycobacterium tuberculosis in macrophages,from Mycobacterium tuberculosis expression in vitro to that in vivo in the host,from mouse to human as the model. Because the animal model is convenient, gene mutation mice or tuberculosis infection mice treated by drugs are used as models in the transcriptomics researches of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. These researches provide the necessary basic information for the study of anti-tuberculosis drugs and clinical diagnosis. This article reviews the transcriptomics researches of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Key words: Mycobacterium tuberculosis; Transcriptomics; Gene chip
