Abstract

Silver-loaded cellulose composite antimicrobial materials have become a hot spot in the field of scientific research due to their excellent antimicrobial properties, good biocompatibility and environmental friendliness. The preparation methods include in situ chemical reduction, hydrothermal reduction, sol-gel and electrostatic self-assembly. These materials achieve antibacterial effects through mechanisms such as disrupting bacterial cell walls, inhibiting enzyme and protein activity, and disrupting bacterial DNA, and have broad application prospects in medical, packaging, and water treatment fields. This article provides a detailed summary of the research progress in the preparation methods, antibacterial mechanisms, and applications of silver loaded cellulose composite antibacterial materials, and looks forward to future research trends.
