  • In this article we have summarized the rice research conducted during 19712015 in the West Central Table Land Zone of Odisha in India in the areas of plant breeding, agronomy, entomology and plant pathology, and presented the future research road map for 10 years

  • The West Central Table Land Zone of Odisha consists of six districts, namely, Balangir, Subarnapur, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda and Deogarh (Fig.1).This zone has a total geographical area of 17.19 lakh hectares out of which 56.9% contribute towards net sown area
