Abstract

Abstract More than four hundred dehydrogenases catalyze some reactions in the presence of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD + ) or nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADP + ) as the coenzyme, so the electrochemical oxidation of NAD(P)H is quite important for the construction of NAD(P)-dependent dehydrogenase biosensors. In this article, the electrochemical oxidation reactions of coenzymes in the presence of artificial electron mediators were introduced. In addition, design and application of NAD (P)-dependent dehydrogenase biosensors were reviewed.
