Abstract

To discuss the key common issues and research status of current water-based polyurethane plastic printing inks. Briefly compare the preparation of various water-based polyurethane plastic printing inks and the advantages and disadvantages of their printing suitability process routes, and analyze the key properties and influencing factors of water-based polyurethane inks for food packaging. Results: The transition from solvent-based inks to water-based inks is an inevitable trend in the development of the ink industry. The key to preparing water-based polyurethane inks is to synthesize excellent water-based polyurethane emulsions. Conventional water-based polyurethanes have insufficient water resistance, heat resistance, adhesion properties, and color reproduction. Thus, printing on plastic films needs improvement. Put forward the development idea of green and environmentally friendly water-based ink.
