Abstract
Hand, foot and mouth disease(HFMD)is a common acute infectious disease in children caused by intestinal viruses.The severe HFMD, mostly caused by enterovirus 71, can lead to meningitis, encephalitis, encephalomyelitis, pulmonaryedema, irculation disorder and high fatality.To investigate the research progress of pathogenesis, hysiopathology, immunoassay and diagnosis of severe HFMD can provide references to the clinical prevention and treatment.
