Over the past 20 years, the field of neurology has evolved and expanded tremendously, and so too has the prominence of women in the specialty. Udani Samarasekera interviewed The Lancet Neurology's newest female editorial board members to hear their views not only on research developments in the field, but also on shifts in the divisions of and interactions between specialties, diversity in clinical practice and research, and their hopes for the future.
