Abstract
Kasabach-Merritt syndrome(KMS) is a massive haemangioma with thrombocytopenia and consumptive coagulopathy. The histopathology of KMS is thrombocytopenia and disseminated intravascular coagulation associated with massive haemangioma.A standard treatment regimen for KMS has not been established. Therapy includes surgery, embolism and medicine(steroids,α-interferon , immunosuppressant , etc). Key words: Kasabach-Memtt syndrome; Haemangioma; Thrombocytopenia
