Abstract

Myoepithelial carcinoma of the breast is an uncommon tumour with few cases reported in the literature. Consequently, it is a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge. Treatment includes the design of local flaps. We present a case of myoepithelial carcinoma of the breast with locoregional progression after chemotherapy and radiotherapy. We also provide a review of the literature, allowing us to establish a definitive diagnosis and optimal oncological and surgical treatment with reconstruction of this tumour.
