Abstract
A programmable transversal filter which is based on the combination of a bucket-brigade device (BBD) with a row of dynamic amplifiers is described. Since the dynamic amplifier operates around a virtual ground, negative signals can be handled without a decrease in dynamic range, and the DC output voltage is independent of the implemented filter function. The filter is a compact device requiring only low power.
