Abstract

A novel Programmable Analog Array of fractional-order filters is proposed in this paper. It is constructed from an active core which is implemented using Current Feedback Operational Amplifiers as active elements. The scheme offers the realization of lowpass, highpass, bandpass, and bandstop fractional-order filter functions of various orders, and this is achieved through the utilization of resistor and capacitor banks as well as a 4-to-16 decoder. The behavior of the proposed array has been evaluated using the OrCad PSpice simulator, while the AD844 discrete-component ICs have been employed as Current Feedback Operational Amplifiers.
