Right ventricular (RV) systolic function has shown prognostic value in advanced and decompensated cardiac failure; however there is a paucity of information in stable non-ischaemic cardiomyopathy populations. We sought to assess the predictive capacity of RV free wall strain (RV-FWS), a sensitive marker of RV systolic function.
