Serials: The Journal for the Serials Community has been digitised and can be accessed in full on this website. All content is freely available on an open-access basis. Serials was published between 1988 and 2011. In 2012, the journal was retitled and is now published as Insights: the UKSG journal.

At the 24th NASIG conference in Asheville, North Carolina (www.nasig.org) Dan Tonkery and Bev Acreman caught up with Tony Kidd, Chair of the UKSG (www.uksg.org) and Assistant Director, Financial and Corporate Services, at the Library of the University of Glasgow, Scotland. During the summers while in college, he was fortunate enough to work at St Andrews University library as an intern, moving the collections and other library activities. He worked in the insurance industry for a very short time after graduation, but he soon answered the call back to libraries.
