Abstract

The main problem is how the effect of yacon prebiotic syrup as a natural supplement on hemoglobin, glucose, and triglycerides concentrations. A total of 24 Rattus norvegicus divided into T1, T2, and T3 groups, each via feeding tube received a supplement of yacon prebiotic syrup-SA with FOS levels of 5, 8, and 10% (w/w), and 6 ml of water per day for T0 (control) group. Experimental animals to be trained struggle to swim per week with a load of 20% body weight. Before and after 35-day treatment, the hemoglobin, longtime struggle, blood glucose, and triglycerides were observed.
