Abstract

Background: Natural Product Medicine consisting of 2-5 kinds of plants that have synergistic biological activity so that the effects appear to be potential. The responsible constituents produce therapeutic activity in plants, involving multicomponents as well as having a diversity of component content. The combination of ethanol extract of Annona squamosa L and Persea americana M has been shown to have activity as antihyperlipidemia. Assurance of the correctness and consistency of combination of ethanol extract Annona squamosa L and Persea americana M as antihyperlipidemia, it is necessary to characterize the components of the secondary metabolites. Objective: The aim of this study was to obtain profiles of secondary metabolites of Annona squamosa L and Persea americana M ethanol extracts as antihyperlipidemia using Tensitometry TLC technique.Method: This study is an experimental study with TLC-densitometry analysis. Extract samples were applied to TLC plates and screened using Densitometry at 254 nm wavelength. The peak of the chromatogram obtained, is measured at a wavelength of 200-700 nm to obtain the maximum wavelength of each peak. Results: The results showed that Annona squamosa ethanol extract L showed 5 peaks with rf values of 0.00; 0.61; 0.67; 0.73; 0.87. Result of analysis of TLC-Densitometry Ethanol Extract Persea americana M. has 8 peaks with rf value of 0.00; 0.11; 0.19; 0.49; 0.56; 0.71; 0.77; 0.90. The spectra at each peak of the extract chromatogram showed that there were 2-3 peaks at a wavelength of 300-350 nm.Conclusion: Chromatogram KLT-Denstimotri profile data on ethanol extract of leaves of Annona squamosa L. and Persea americana M. can be used as one of the indicators in the standardization process of raw materials combination of ethanol extract of leaf Annona squamosa L. and Persea americana M. as a natural product for antihiperlipidemia .
