Abstract
Profiles Dr. Matthew Barth, the Yeager Families Professor of Engineering at the University of California-Riverside (UCR), is the Director for the Center for Environmental Research and Technology (CE-CERT), UCR’s largest multi-disciplinary research center. Professor Barth, an IEEE member since 1990, was awarded the status of an IEEE Fellow in 2014 for pioneering in the field of ITS. He has served in various influential roles in the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society and the Vehicular Technology Society. He served as the President of the IEEE ITS Society during 2014- 2015 as well as a member of the Board of Governors during 2009- 2011.
