Abstract
Research reports an experiment conducted under greenhouse conditions to study the effects of irrigation management at different soil water matric potential (ψm) conditions on yield of yellow pepper, Capsicum annuum (Solanaceae), Marengo HY cultivar. Experiment was carried out in a completely randomized design, with four treatments and six replications. Soil matric potentials studied were -15, -32, -50 and -65 kPa. Results obtained showed a significant effect of matric potentials on the yield and fruit characteristics, such as weight, length, diameter and pulp thickness. Highest productivity was obtained at ψm = -15 kPa for irrigation management
