Abstract

The development of an independent defense industry in a country will have an impact on its Gross Domestic Product (GDP), which is the sum of the value of goods and services produced by all sectors of the nation's economy at the end of a given year. PT Pindad (Persero) operates in two locations, one in Bandung, West Java, where it manufactures various industrial goods, special function vehicles, and defense equipment, and the other in Turen, Malang, where it manufactures explosive materials and grenades. PT Len Industri (Persero) So far, Len has developed businesses and products in the field of electronics for industry and infrastructure and has demonstrated various experiences in the field of electronics for defense, both land, sea and air. Radar, Radio Tactics, Combat Management System (CMS) on warships, are some of the mainstay products in the defense business spectrum. The method used to write the article relates to the dialectic of descriptive-qualitative research through desk research. with the status of BUMN, PT Pindad (Persero) will deposit its business profits to the State Treasury as Non-Tax State Revenue (PNPB), while VAT, Income Tax, and Customs Value are obtained through state revenue from taxes. These revenues will then be treated with other State Revenues to obtain realization in the form of APBN & APBD, and only the central and local governments can utilize them after that.
