Indeed, the profound is interwoven with the obvious, so that one must pay close attention or miss the best parts. Further, the book creatively raises important research questions about individual change, management, and teams, but not in a way that is likely to result in legitimate scholarly research. The book shows the care, competence, and high aspirations of dedicated educator-consultants. I think that it is unique in the genre of management development books and am grateful that the exercise of performing this review forced me to give it the close reading it demands and deserves. It has changed me.
