Abstract

Relevance. The development of dairy farming is one of the priorities of the agricultural complex of the Russian Federation.Methods. The article presents the results of research on indicators of milk productivity and functional properties of the udder of cows-mothers and their daughters in the context of their linear affiliation. It has been established that mother cows have a sufficiently high genetic potential of milk productivity.Results. Daughter cows have milk productivity exceeding the standard, and sufficiently high indicators of the functional properties of the udder. Linear affiliation does not reveal significant differences between groups in two generations. Slightly superior in yield the daughters of the line Reflection Sovering 198998.
