Abstract

It is established that from powder waste of a hydrogen generator operating cycle, and also that prepared by chemical dispersion from aluminum or aluminum alloy, it is possible to manufacture commercial-grade ceramic with unique properties. A production scheme is described for preparing ceramic from aluminum hydroxide powder and aluminum alloys, developed by the scientific collective of FGBOU VPO MGIU. A regime for heat treating powders in air, the optimum amount of temporary organic binder, and a regime for burning it out of compacts, are worked out.
