Abstract
Excitation functions for the production of7Be,22Na,24Na and28Mg by irradiation of27Al with deuterons and alpha particles were measured for the energy range available with the Karlsruhe Isochronous Cyclotron. The error in the absolute cross section scale is estimated to be 2.5%. The error in the energy scale is about 1 MeV in the threshold region and 0.5 MeV at the maximum energy.
