Abstract

Summary A method for producing a potent antitetanus serum in horses is described. A ground-immunity was obtained by a few injections of toxin and antitoxin; then the horses rested during three or four months and, after that, they were immunized with doses of toxin doubled each time. The content of antitoxin in the serums reached 1500 units per cubic centimeter and even more.
