Abstract

The joint effect of the impurity profile of a material and the thermal conditions of the formation of color centers upon irradiation in crystalline optical media is investigated. Special attention is given to additional gamma re-irradiation in thermally effective ranges for active centers, which establishes conditions for their preferential production.
