Abstract
Ductile metallic ribbons have been reduced into small particles by a blade cutter mill designed to cut and slash the ribbons. The resulting powders are suitable for subsequent P/M processing. This batch process and the results obtained with a Zn-20.5Al-0.7Cu alloy are described.
