Abstract
This study focuses on large-scale production of plasma-activated water (PAW) using batch processes with circulating and non-circulating modes. A multi-plasma device setup, powered by a self-developed high-voltage high-frequency supply. This plasma is electrically characterized and the produced radicals/species are identified using emission spectroscopy, with resulting effluent gases containing polluting species. The PAW setup utilizes these gases to create substantial quantities of PAW, decreasing environmental pollutants. The non-circulating mode produces highly reactive PAW (2L/batch) while the circulating mode yields larger volumes (20L/batch) with lower reactivity. Applications range from microbial inactivation to agriculture. Both batch setups are scalable for industrial PAW production.
