Abstract
An analysis is presented measuring the production rate of the strange baryon Ξ c 0 in the exclusive decay channel Ξ c 0 → Ξ − β +, to be f Ξ c 0 × BR( Ξ c 0 → Ξ − β +) = (4.7±1.4( stat)±1.1( syst)) × 10 −4. A measurement of the production rate of the beauty strange baryon Ξ b is also presented, using the inclusive channel Ξ b → Ξ − l −X. The measured production rate was BR( b → Ξ b )×BR( Ξ b → Ξ − l −X) = (6.0±1.9( stat)±0.8( syst)) × 10 −4 per lepton species.
