Production of an intermediate-mass Higgs boson in association with a single top quark at LHC and SSC

Abstract

We calculate the production of a standard model Higgs boson with 70 GeV ⪅ M H ⪅ 130 GeV in association with a single t quark in WB fusion, and examine the possibility of its detection in the isolated lepton and two photon decay channel. We find that only O(1) event of this type will be produced at LHC (with λ=10 5 pb −1) and SSC (with λ=10 4 pb −1).
