Abstract
This paper ∗ ∗ Part 2 of this paper, which will appear in a subsequent issue of this journal, will be devoted to the controlled decomposition of APT and further reduction of the resulting oxides, to yield high quality ultrafine tungsten powder. deals primarily with the production and characterization of fine tungsten powders prepared by conventional hydrogen reduction techniques. The state-of-the-art in the production and characterization of submicron tungsten powders is presented and discussed herein.
