Abstract

Product acceptance aims at efficiently and comprehensively defining a new product. The research problem refers to developing an integrated ERP type solution (Enterprise Resource Planning) allowing for integrating all data for product acceptance in order to better support the innovation process. The paper presents a case study for a nanotechnology research and development project. Research methodology comprises of a secondary research for establishing the core elements of product acceptance. Furthermore, technology-enabled automation of business processes/digital process automation, i.e. modeling software and standard notation, was used to design a product acceptance model and its specific standardized documents.
