Abstract

SummaryThis paper presents an analysis of approximately 159 injectors from the Prudhoe Bay oil field that were subjected to periods of injection with seawater, produced water, and miscible injectant (MI) over a 10-year period. The long-term effects on injection performance of produced-water quality, fluid temperature, fracture growth, well trajectory, and other factors are quantified.
