Abstract
This article describes a living articles web publishing platform and novel editorial formats for the collaborative creation, enhancement, publication, editing, updating, and reuse of scientific living articles, as envisioned within the context of the Prode (Scientific Production in Design) research project. The design process that led to the development of a prototype of the platform is described, highlighting the user-centered approach that was used, which relied on case study research and co-creation sessions with real users.
