Abstract

This essay takes into consideration the procedures of description in the communication habits in the institutional context; in particular the empirical analysis wants to observe how individuals use the common sense to give the objects, habits and situations a shared meaning for their practical goals, that is to efficiently carry out their interactions. This research starts from those guidelines of paradigms that have chosen the study of interactional micro processes, like the symbolic interactionism, the relational sociology, the inter-subjectivity, the ethno-methodology and the conversation analysis. This reasearch wants to give a contribution to the study of the communicative actions in the institutional context. The social actions are possible because individuals conduct themselves according to the principle of the reciprocity of expectations. Then the social order is not an abstract whole by which the plot of actions and behaviours is interpreted; on the contrary it is caught in any social event, ritual or social practice, in the details of the procedures by which the subjects interpret and give a meaning and a feature of normality to any action.
