Abstract

The paper presents the directions of change of subjective structures in polish food industry and in processing of plant products in Poland after accession to the EU. There were presented changes the changes in the share of individual groups of companies both in the total number of entities, average employment and the value of sold production and the impact these changes have on productivity in the analyzed groups of companies. The analysis can be concluded that the transnational corporations had huge impact on the concentration processes and the productivity growth of business entities in the plant-based products processing industry in Poland in the years 2004-2014.
