Abstract

The relevance of the study is determined by the search for new approaches to organizing the provision of medical care to the population, from the standpoint of the principles of ensuring and continuously improving the qualit y of medical ser vices. Target. To study the effectiveness of the influence of the process approach on the quality of medical care provided to patients suffering from arterial hypertension and, on this basis, to develop recommendations for increasing the ef ficiency of nursing staf f. Results. The theoretical and methodological foundations of the quality management system in healthcare were studied with the actualization of the process approach; the quality of outpatient care provided was assessed using a process approach; based on expert assessment, problems were identified in the provision of medical services; the results of implementing the process approach were analyzed. Conclusion. The expert assessment of the activities of nursing staff made it possible to identify inconsistencies, analyze the reasons for their occurrence, develop corrective actions, and plan actions aimed at improving the performance of the process and the final ser vice.
