Abstract
The intent of this essay is to present why privatization was a somewhat forced in the regions mentioned in the title of the the same work. Since privatization has been implemented as a merger, sale and liquidation of public sector enterprises. The admissibility and desirability of privatizing, and the type of companies that will be privatized, will be determined by similar considerations in both types of countries, developed and undeveloped. However, structural differences and the different objectives of public sector enterprises in developing countries, as well as the program of privatization of some programs, you probably tend to be different. Disclosed are different cases, such as that of Mexico, Jamaica, and several Central.
