Abstract
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 3rd ACM Workshop on Agent-Oriented Software Engineering Challenges for Ubiquitous and Pervasive Computing - AUPC'09 hosted by the International ACM Conference on Pervasive Services -- ICPS 2009, to be held on July 13-17, 2009 at Imperial College, London, UK. The mission of this workshop is to present contributions on ubiquitous and pervasive computing issues and to identify new directions for future research and development. It gives researchers and practitioners the opportunity to share their ideas and perspectives with others interested in the various aspects of ubiquitous and pervasive Computing. The final workshop program offers a wide range view of research issues dealing with ubiquitous computing, pervasive computing, agent-based systems, middleware, and service discovery systems. A total of 11 papers were submitted, from which 6 papers have been accepted. Each paper has been reviewed by 2 to 3 reviewers.
