Abstract
Welcome to Clemson University! This year may be remembered as the year the ACM Southeast Conference first went "international". Of 75 papers submitted, we were able to accept 34 as full-text contributions. We have also accepted 13 papers as works-in-progress. Among these we have representatives from Australia, England, France, Hong Kong, Japan, and even Reunion Island! Our keynote address is by Jim Rothnie of Data General Corp., and our luncheon address is by Alan Biermann of Duke University. Both should give interesting slants on the state of computer science and computer science education. This year, more than ever, we really have something for everyone.
