Abstract

It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 10th ACM SIGPLAN-SIGSOFT Workshop on Program Analysis for Software Tools and Engineering (PASTE), held September 5, 2011 in Szeged, Hungary. This edition of the workshop is co-located with the European Software Engineering Conference and the ACM SIGSOFT Symposium on the Foundations of Software Engineering (ESEC/FSE 2011). PASTE 2011 continues the tradition of bringing together researchers and practitioners interested in program analysis and its role in solving software engineering problems. We received 14 submissions of which four long and two short papers were selected by the program committee to appear in the PASTE program. Each submission was reviewed by three PC members. In some cases, additional reviews were solicited from outside experts. We thank the PC members and the external reviewer for their dedication, thorough reviews, and constructive feedback. We also thank the keynote speaker Sumit Gulwani (Microsoft Research) for his willingness to share his latest research and insights with the workshop participants.
