Abstract
We are glad to welcome you to the First International Workshop on Sensing and Big Data Mining (SenseMine 2013). This workshop presents a new forum, established to bring together researchers, practitioners, and academics in the fields of sensor networks, distributed systems, and big data mining and machine learning, with the goal of driving cross-disciplinary research in support of novel emerging applications in our daily lives.
