Problèmes de l'histoire de l'analyse mathématique au XIXème siècle. Cas de karl weierstrass et de Richard Dedekind

Abstract

The aim of our expositions is t^ present our research based on unpublished documents, relating to the history of analysis in the XIX century (and in particular to the work of Karl Weierstrass and Richard Dedekind), and to note some “unsolved problems” that we have encountered. We try to show the extent to which these unpublished documents permitted a better understanding of this period in the development of analysis.
