Abstract

The aim of this article is to reveal the problems which the hotels deal with if they want to become more ecological. The issue is explained on the example of Wielkopolska province. Based on this analysis it can be concluded that there are many obstacles in the development of green hotels in Poland. The main problems here are high costs of implementation of eco-friendly solutions in buildings which many of them cannot afford. Another obstacle is a low environmental awareness of Polish society.
