Abstract

This article analyzes the causes of corrosion and erosion processes in multiphase pipeline systems for collecting and transporting hydrocarbons from field technological pipelines of Azerbaijani fields. For different values of the initial pressure and diameter, the optimal values of the pumping range of heterogeneous well production were calculated taking into account changes in the viscosity and topography of the pipeline route. The influence of the fractional composition of mechanical impurities contained in oil on erosion–corrosion processes in infield pipelines was investigated taking into account the hydrodynamics of multiphase flows. Specific possible options for reducing the rate of dynamic corrosion in multiphase pipelines and utilization of separated mechanical impurities and water in field conditions are proposed.
