Abstract

The work considers the environmental problems in the Republic of Buryatia and reflects their population assessments based on the results of the author’s sociological survey and secondary analysis of the studies conducted in the Republic. The author emphasizes the importance of the environmental education of young people based on the ethnoecological traditions of the Bur-yat people.
