Abstract

In forensic handwriting examination, the examinator is often confronted with extremely similar handwritings. This often re sults in wrong judgments. This circumstance is to be countered by means of a more specif ic approach than usual, and, thus, by using comparison methods base d on systematic scales of quantified and therefore highly differentiated quality analysis, followed by a systematic numerical approach.
