Abstract

A summary is presented of recent work on the geology and stratigraphic problems at Hanford. After a description of the regional setting, the base of the Ellensburg Formation and the top of the Yakima basalt are discussed. The relationship between the Ringold Formation and the older Ellensburg Formation is considered.
