Abstract

Over decades of development, China has topped the world in energy generation and consumption. Despite the great achievements that China has made in the development of energy, there remain salient problems, such as energy shortage, unreasonable energy structure, and environmental pollution, making it imperative to develop new energies. This paper analyzes the development status-quo of new-energy vehicles (NEVs), unveils the problems in the development of the NEV sector, and puts forth solutions to these problems from both the microscopic and macroscopic angles, with a vision to find a path of development featuring higher production, increased prosperity, and ecological well-being.
