Abstract
A dynamic new model (fig. 1) of the depression and of its folded frame, in their geological- historical perspective, from the Riphean through the Quaternary, based on paleotectonic analysis and reconstructions with accounting for the origin of the suboceanic type of crust under the deep part of the sea and for the [still] continuing expansion of the depression (since the Cretaceous) by absorption of certain parts of its folded frame. — IGR Staff.
