Abstract

The laws of distributivity, through the full characterization of distributive pairs of aggregation operators of certain classes, play a fundamental role in numerous disciplines, such as fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic, pseudo-analysis and measure theory, and, particularly, in utility theory. This paper provides a negative answer to the problem of distributivity between uni-nullnorms and quasi-linear means.
