Abstract

We first discuss magnetic excitation and relaxation processes which have already beenrecognized experimentally by muon spin relaxation experiments. Our examples are takenfrom experiments performed on strongly correlated electronic systems, magnetic metals andgeometrically frustrated magnetic compounds. In another part, focusing on the flux-linelattice in the Bragg-glass phase of superconductors, we show that a muon spinexperiment can provide information on the in-plane correlation length of the lattice.
